Yes, you will lose the most important feature that Emerald(Phoenix) has: Ability to hide your LookAt and still be able to see other users LookAt.

You are aware that ALL third party viewers will have to stop using LLKDU, and will have to use OpenJPEG instead. This was part of Linden Lab's requirements for allowing Emerald back into the TPV (and allowing Phoenix into the TPV). Linden Lab says that loading LLKDU is a violation of the GPL.

Strange, first attempt to log in using my saved username and password failed (SL registration page showed up). Second attempt worked.

Previous version was banned on the same day as Emerald. Downloaded the latest version of Emergence, which worked yesterday but is now banned. Looks like Linden Labs views Emergence as an Emerald clone, despite your work.

Im having issues with emergence... i set up the things in my preferences, it s like it s saved, but acutally nothing's working. i.e: the language i choose. it shows my language in the preferences, but i keep having it in english. Same thing for the breast thing. i set it up, it s saved, but it s not working. can someone help me?

It's Second Life's Silver skin. You can change it in Preferences > Skins

I also don't like the red color scheme but I was able to change that to Silver in Preferences > Skins :)

I need to know HOW to change the color sheme on Emergence! I cant find anything to help with that and no help topic on it! I cannot use this version unless I can change the color because it irrates my eyes!

That is absolutely right but, as with those who chose to continue using Emerald, people are free to choose which viewer they will trust.
